At Humphreys Funeral Home, we have a chapel of rest which can be used for private family viewings and ceremonies. Our funeral home has a comfortable, tasteful and tranquil interior and our helpful staff are here to support you whenever you need us. A private family viewing provides the opportunity to spend some final moments with your loved one in an intimate setting.
For many, visiting a loved one before the funeral service can help to provide closure and allow one to begin the grieving process. However, some people do not wish to arrange a visit for several reasons. Whatever you decide, we will support you with your decision.
Viewings must be arranged in advance, so please contact us to arrange an appointment.
The chapel is also fully equipped and furnished to be able to accommodate funeral ceremonies. Services can hold up to 90 people (50 seating plus 40 standing).
Our venue provides an alternative to a crematorium or church service. It has everything you need including televisions for videos and photo slides, webcasting technology, music systems, and we can also set up a screen outside for larger funerals. Our team can decorate the chapel with flowers, photographs and other decorations on your behalf. Please ask us about the options at your funeral planning meeting.
